Keeping Norfolk Warm
Norfolk Warm Homes is a partnership of local councils, led by Broadland District Council. Our partnership provides home energy efficiency improvement works for eligible residents. Our core commitment is to increase household energy efficiency and support people to live in a warmer home.
What do we offer?
Fully funded government grants for eligible households at zero cost to you.
Installs carried out by our council approved contractors.
A dedicated team to support you throughout the process.
We can fund:
✓ Solar panels & battery storage
✓ Loft and cavity wall insulation
✓ Flat and room-in-roof insulation
✓ Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP)
✓ High Heat Retention Storage Heaters
We do not fund:
✗ Boiler repairs
✗ Gas, LPG or oil boilers
✗ Replacing double glazed windows or doors
✗ Direct support with energy bills
What is the process?
There are six steps towards getting a Norfolk Warm Home:
Get in touch and apply
Discuss your household’s suitability for funding with a member of our friendly team
Confirm eligibility
Complete your Norfolk Warm Homes application, then send it to us
Home Assessments
If it’s suitable you’ll be declared eligible and ready for home assessments
Approval
We then obtain approval from the funder (the government) for the work
Install
Book in a time for the work to be carried out
Completion
Finish the installations and check the quality of the work
